James Rodriguez doesn’t want to leave Real Madrid in the January transfer window, according to La Liga expert Guillem Balague.
The Daily Mirror are reporting that James has issued a “come and get me plea” after a breakdown in relations with Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane.
The same article states that the Colombia international is keen to secure a transfer away from the Spanish capital in the January transfer window.
It goes on to suggest that James’s agent Jorge Mendes has already been in touch with Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward over a proposed move.
However, Sky Sports reports and La Liga expert Balague doesn’t expect James to leave the 11-time European championship in the current transfer window.
“Isco will stay. James doesn’t want to go either,” Balague told Sky Sports News HQ.
James has only started four games in La Liga this season after falling down the pecking order under current Real Madrid manager Zidane.
The Colombian has scored one goal and has made three assists in nine La Liga outings.
